How much does the Basic Locksmith Course cost in Malaysia?
The Basic Locksmith Course costs RM3,000 per person for 2 days of hands-on training in English or 中文. The fee includes training materials, practical consumables and a certificate of completion; meals are not included. A 50% deposit reserves your seat and your dates are agreed after that.

What will I learn in the Basic Locksmith Course?
The course covers four practical areas — how locks work inside, cutting and matching mechanical keys, using basic opening tools correctly, and identifying and choosing common door locks — so that on completion you can take on basic locksmith jobs.
- Lock fundamentals & internal structure How common locks are built and how their mechanisms work.
- Key duplication Cutting mechanical keys and matching them to the original accurately.
- Basic opening tools Recognising the core opening tools and using them correctly.
- Common door lock types Identifying the door locks you meet in Malaysian homes and shops, and choosing the right replacement.
